Tomoe was quite a sight most days, walking from his chambers dressed in a working kimono or clothes befitting a sailor. He would come out and take the laundry most days, washing it by hand on a washboard and then setting it out on a line to dry. He would help with the hunt and come back to pick vegetables and fruits for the kitchen.
The fox had finished most of his chores and was getting evening supper ready, cooking five pots of noodles at the same time. The fire was controlled by him, which made it easier to keep a good temperature. He was wearing a blue apron and his long sleeves were tucked up so he could work, his hair back as well. He set at the counter cutting up some carrots.

Now as Slade had informed Diane, when they were washing the camp's dishes, the leaders were taking care of all the chores around the grounds. The other members would be informed of the chores that they would be assigned, but Diane did the opposite. Not only did she start making it a point that she would take care of her mess, but Charlie would too. Despite the fact that before their hasty escape from her home Charlie had been living with her for almost two years, so he should have been used to this. He was still a kid and he tried to avoid the said chores. And some habits were hard to break for the boy who had once lived on the streets, she had caught him multiple times stealing food. And the woman had taken it upon herself that whenever he disappeared, the first place she would check was the dining tent.
Consider her surprised at the work load within the tent and that the only person doing this was the fox-like man from the first day of the speech. Her shoulders went slack and she blinked a few times before speaking up, "Excuse me?" Why not see if he had seen the boy, "Have you seen an..." Though some habits are hard to break, "Imp, around?"

Tomoe blinked at the woman, her scent filling the air and letting him know she had some sort of manipulation perhaps with environment given the disturbed dirt and fresh rain sort of smell. "Oh dear." He turned slowly toward one of the larger pots and opened the lid, " that was yours?" He teased dryly.
He smiled a bit and dropped the lid. " im afraidthe only imp sort of creature that passed through here was Dimitri looking for his socks" Tomoe grinned, looking over at a drawer that had blue socks sticking out of it.

Diane had stiffen, but paused as she realized it was just a joke. She chuckled, "Cute, that's cute." She glanced towards the drawer, well at least nothing was a missed, meaning Charlie had not stolen anything. She once again stared at the multiple large pots and coughed awkwardly, "Well it certainly seems you have your hands full, it seems."

Tomoe found this woman interesting and he was quite bored. "Yes, I do have my hands full, but they are not too full for a conversation. Tell me then, who is this imp that you are seeking? Is he your mate?" The white haired half breed wondered, as a casual way of asking was she single. It would make things better if she was, as he wouldn't have to contain his humor to prevent a future altercation.

Catherine balked at the fox man's question, "Excuse me? No! He's a boy that I've been taking care of." She shook her head trying to to shake the disgusting thought away.
